Ciments du Maroc: Procimar Crosses 5% and 10% Shareholding Thresholds
Procimar has significantly increased its stake in Ciments du Maroc, as announced by the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC).
In Morocco, the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) has reported a notable change in the shareholding structure of Ciments du Maroc. Procimar, a company, has crossed the 5% and 10% thresholds in the capital of Ciments du Maroc. This development occurred following the acquisition of 935,900 shares of Ciments du Maroc from Heidelberg Materials Italia Cementi S.p.A on December 26, 2023.
As a result of this transaction, Procimar now holds 1,443,646 shares in Ciments du Maroc, representing 10% of the company's capital. The AMMC's statement also noted that within the next six months following this threshold crossing, Procimar plans to cease its purchases of Ciments du Maroc shares.
