COMES SA, based in Neamt County, Romania, has kicked off its 2024 projects with an ambitious undertaking at the Tasca Heidelberg Materials Romania cement factory. The project involves replacing an existing stack used for the clean gas discharge into the atmosphere from the sack filter of the kiln-mill, line 2 of the clinker production.

The replacement of the stack, which stands at a height of 82 meters and has a diameter of 4 meters, is composed of 13 sections, with a total weight of approximately 85 tons. The dismantling and installation of the new stack are scheduled during the factory's downtime in January-February 2024. Currently, sub-assemblies are being delivered, and preparations are underway for the dismantling operations.
