China: Huaxin Cement, through its subsidiary Huangshi Huaxin Guanggu Dong New Building Materials Co., Ltd., has successfully bid 1.43 billion yuan (143 million yuan) for a limestone mine in Huangshi, Hubei Province. The mine has a reserve exceeding 58 million tons and an annual production capacity of 5 million tons. The acquisition requires a one-time payment for the mining rights.

As of the end of 2023, Huaxin Cement has significantly expanded its operations. This new acquisition is a strategic move to enhance the company's raw material supply and production capabilities.
