He highlighted that the region is currently going through a difficult phase with over 15,000 homes completely destroyed, emphasizing the importance of cement in home construction. Thakur pointed out that the increasing prices of cement are adding to the challenges faced by the people in rebuilding their homes.

Thakur urged the government to pay attention to this matter and ensure that issues related to health and other essential services are resolved with seriousness. He also emphasized the need for the government to ensure that people's treatments under the Himcare scheme are not affected due to pending payments.

In his statement, Thakur also extended his wishes to the residents of the state for Lohri and Makar Sankranti. He stressed the need for the government to address the rising cement prices promptly, considering the ongoing disaster recovery efforts in the state.
