Under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the Mining Department initiated preparations for auctioning composite licenses for iron ore blocks across approximately 1888 hectares in the Hindon area near Karauli. Initial explorations suggest the presence of over 840 million tons of iron ore, with both magnetite and hematite varieties identified.
