In India, the cement industry is poised for a potential turnaround as market players foresee a resurgence in demand. Dealers are optimistic about the recovery of demand post the general elections, expecting states to ramp up infrastructure investments.

Particularly encouraging is the robust performance of real estate firms in residential sales, outpacing available inventory levels. Analysts highlight that residential properties are currently in high demand, with the real estate sector driving 55% of the total cement demand, while the remaining portion stems from infrastructure projects.
