ACC profit zooms 37.5% in Q3

ACC, one of India's leading cement manufacturers, reported a 37.5% increase in net profit for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023.

ACC, one of India's leading cement manufacturers, reported a 37.5% increase in net profit for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023.

The company's net profit rose to INR 1,000 crore ($134 million) from INR 727 crore ($97 million) in the same period last year.

ACC's revenue also increased by 14.5% to INR 4,800 crore ($643 million) from INR 4,200 crore ($562 million) in the previous year.

The company attributed the growth to higher sales volume and improved realizations.
