The Suez Canal Economic Zone has recently announced a notable export activity from the Port of East Port Said. The port welcomed the vessel SPARLYRA, arriving from Alexandria, to load a substantial shipment of 51,625 tons of clinker raw material destined for Gibraltar. This event underscores the ongoing export of clinker raw material and cement and the unloading of coal at the Port of East Port Said, a key component of the economic zone of the Suez Canal.

Additionally, the port received the vessel ATLANTIC SPRIT from the Ain Sokhna Port, carrying 23,000 tons of packaged cement for export to the United States. Another vessel, EVOLUTION, arriving from Russia, was set to unload 23,512 tons of coal, used as an alternative fuel in cement production. The port administration has implemented and applied environmental safety measures to maintain air quality standards.

In a related development, the West Port Said Port received the vessel LIA IEVOLI from the Mediterranean, ready to load 9,300 tons of caustic soda for Greece. The port also welcomed the vessel ZAMZAM A from Turkey, unloading 2,475 tons of marble.
