Huaxin Cement Co., Ltd., a prominent player in the cement industry, has applied for a patent titled "A Polycarboxylate Depressant and Its Preparation Method and Application." The patent, filed in October 2023, aims to innovate in the field of concrete additives.

The patent reveals a polycarboxylate depressant designed to effectively reduce the viscosity of ultra-high performance concrete, even under low dosage conditions. This development is particularly significant for concrete with a water-cement ratio ≤0.14. The invention involves a micro-crosslinked polycarboxylate depressant containing phosphate groups and organosilane groups, synthesized through molecular structure design.
