PT Semen Gresik Holds Workshop to Improve Technical Competence of Employees through Kiln and Maintenance Academy

PT Semen Gresik, a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), is conducting Kiln & Maintenance Academy to improve the technical competence of its employees. The program is aimed at optimizing the operational activities of Kiln, which is an important device in the cement production process with complex control and high electricity and heat consumption.

The training is expected to prepare experts or operators in the Central Control Room (CCR) Kiln section and optimize the Kiln machine operation process.In addition, Semen Gresik is also conducting maintenance academy to support the maintenance of production equipment in the operational process of the Rembang Plant. The company is preparing expert personnel in the field of maintenance to minimize breakdowns, extend the lifetime of equipment, and master the theory and practice of maintenance.

The training is expected to improve the competence and level of employees, which will have a positive impact on the quality of production, work safety, and operational efficiency overall.According to Senior Manager of Human Capital & General Affair PT Semen Gresik, Taufik Susanto, the Kiln & Maintenance Academy program is intended for every subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) throughout Indonesia, including PT Semen Gresik. The training is divided into two sessions, namely Kiln academy with four participants and maintenance academy with 12 participants.
