Republic Cement, an Aboitiz-owned company, has forged a significant partnership with Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) to repurpose plastic waste from JFC's extensive brand portfolio, including Jollibee, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Greenwich, Red Ribbon, Burger King, Panda Express, and Yoshinoya, into an alternative fuel for its cement manufacturing process. This innovative approach aims to divert plastic waste from landfills and waterways, addressing the pressing issue of plastic pollution.
