Sublime Systems Embarks on Major Expansion to Advance Sustainable Cement Production

Sublime Systems, originally an MIT spin-off, is making significant strides in promoting sustainable cement production. The company plans to expand its Raffi’s Somernova campus headquarters in Somerville from 6,500 to 29,500 square feet. This expansion is not just about size; it's a statement of Sublime Systems' commitment to sustainability, featuring an environmentally friendly office design and state-of-the-art technologies to minimize its carbon footprint.

With this expansion, Sublime Systems aims to nearly double its current workforce of 60 to around 100 employees. The new office space will be equipped with ergonomic workstations, updated conference rooms, and interactive communal areas, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Furthering its commitment to environmental sustainability, Sublime Systems is also establishing a low-carbon cement factory in Holyoke. This move is expected to add 70 new jobs and help transform Holyoke into a model of environmental stewardship. The initiative underscores Sublime Systems' dedication to reducing the cement industry's carbon footprint and contributing to a more sustainable future.
