Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Invites Bids for 20 MW Solar Project Consultancy

The Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation (TANCEM) has recently announced a tender for consultancy services to develop a detailed project report (DPR) for a 20 MW solar power project at its Alangulam Cement Works in Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu. The project is intended to cater to the energy requirements of the cement plant, which has an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of cement. The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting a techno-economic feasibility study, assessing the suitability of the land, and evaluating the financial viability of the project. The last date for the submission of bids is February 19, 2024, with the bids set to be opened on the same day.
